Sustainable
Building LLC was founded by Steve Hussey in 2005 to help
residents of San Juan County create more sustainable
("green") buildings and create a more sustainable
community.
After ten years of working in
various areas of sustainable design Steve enrolled in the
'National
Sustainable Building Advisor Certificate
Program'
at Seattle Central Community College, after graduation in
June 2005, which should lead to the 'National Sustainable
Building Advisor' certification. Steve will also be taking
his LEED AP ™ accreditation this year, and is busy writing
a book on Firewise landscaping for landscape architects and
designers.
Sustainable Building LLC is
here to help anyone looking to make their landscape
'greener'.
Sustainable Building LLC is
located on Orcas Island, in the San Juan Islands, and
offers its services throughout Oregon, Washington state and
in particular the San Juan Islands.
